These stitched paintings were made in response to the overturn of Roe v Wade, acknowledging both the young women who are most immediately affected, and the older generations who fought so hard to achieve a woman’s reproductive autonomy. The house form that appears in each is a metaphor for personal boundaries, limits that have unfortunately been violated by this draconian decision.
